For Florida International University (FIU), multiple capital improvement and renovation projects were successfully completed across several campus facilities. Each project included coordinated demolition, renovation, and infrastructure upgrades performed in accordance with university standards, applicable building codes, and institutional operational requirements.

Business & Finance Center Courtyard Paver Project (Academic Center II – Courtyard Area)
Scope included selective demolition associated with the adjacent Academic Center II building interface, followed by grading, subgrade preparation, and installation of engineered concrete courtyard pavers. Work included proper compaction, drainage considerations, and finish grading to achieve uniform surface elevations and durable pedestrian circulation within the courtyard environment.

Classroom Renovation – Room 368 (Academic Center I Building)
Scope included full interior demolition and renovation of existing classroom components, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, baseboards, lighting fixtures, fire alarm devices, and doors. New finishes and systems were installed to modernize the instructional space and ensure compliance with current life safety and accessibility requirements.

Wolfe University Center – First Floor Bathroom Remodel
Scope included complete renovation of men’s and women’s restroom and locker room facilities, including demolition of existing finishes and installation of new plumbing fixtures, partitions, tile systems, accessories, and associated mechanical and electrical upgrades to support improved functionality and code compliance.

Academic Center II – Office Renovations (Rooms 241, 242 & 253)
Scope included interior demolition and full renovation of office suites, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, baseboards, fire sprinkler modifications, HVAC adjustments, lighting systems, fire alarm devices, and doors. Work was performed with coordination of building systems to support updated space layouts.

Hospitality Management Building – Steel Doors, Frames & Concrete Restoration
Scope included selective demolition, structural concrete repair/restoration, and replacement of exterior steel doors, frames, and hardware to improve building envelope integrity and security performance.

Kovens Conference Center – Steel Doors, Frames & Concrete Restoration
Similar scope included concrete restoration, demolition of existing assemblies as required, and installation of new exterior steel doors, frames, and hardware to enhance durability and weather resistance.

Library Building – Steel Doors, Frames & Concrete Restoration
Scope included concrete repairs, selective demolition, and replacement of exterior steel doors, frames, and associated hardware to improve security, functionality, and long-term performance.

Marine Biology Building & Laboratory Renovation
Scope included interior demolition and comprehensive renovation of laboratory and support spaces, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, baseboards, fire sprinkler modifications, plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, fire alarm devices, and doors. Work was completed to support upgraded laboratory functionality and compliance with modern research facility standards.

Collectively, these FIU projects demonstrate coordinated execution of demolition, structural repairs, architectural renovations, and MEP system upgrades across multiple academic and support facilities, delivered in alignment with institutional requirements and regulatory standards.
